Psychologist in North Zealand: About authorised psychologist Therese Ejerskov
Welcome, my name is Therese Ejerskov. I am a psychologist in the heart of North Zealand. I graduated with a Master’s degree in psychology (cand.psych.) from the University of Copenhagen in 2007 and was subsequently authorised by the Danish Supervisory Board of Psychological Practice (Psykolognævnet). You can see my authorisation in the Danish Patient Safety Authority’s register of authorised health professionals.
I have 19 years of experience as a psychologist. I am a specialist in psychotherapy with adults and have specialised in evidence-based cognitive therapy and the treatment of anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, stress and low self-esteem.
My practice
My practice, Den Kognitive Diamant, is a modern psychology practice in North Zealand. It is located at AYA House, a wing of a manor in the middle of North Zealand’s beautiful countryside. Here I put particular emphasis on building a strong therapeutic alliance between us, because both research and my own experience show that it makes a real difference to whether therapy works.

My experience
I began my working life at a large privately owned cognitive psychology centre in Copenhagen, where I stayed for six years. I then worked for ten years in psychiatry in Frederiksberg before deciding to start my own practice in North Zealand.
